Travel to hahajima
If you want to continue your journey to Hahajima you can take the Hahajima Maru ferry that departs next to where the Ogasawara Maru docks.
The Journey between Chichijima and Hahajima takes approximately 2 hours and normally the ship makes the journey on every day or every second day. In general the sailing schedule is adjusted to the Ogasawara Maru and no reservation is required.
Hahajima is the smaller inhabited island in the Bonin archipelago. With approximately 400 villagers it is a tight community. The village is charming and the island offers many unique and beautiful views. Highly recommended for people who enjoy nature and exotic locations. Please note that there are limited options for lodging and food on the island.
